On Saturday morning, Mackenna was toting two babies around, one in each arm. "This is my girl baby. She's Dora," she explained as she looked at her beloved Dora the Explorer doll. She glanced at her other arm which was holding her favorite naked androgynous baby and continued, "And this is my boy baby. He's name is Pete Sakes." World, meet Pete Sakes...and the funny two year-old who named him.
I did ask Michael, "Do you think she'll name the next baby 'Crying Out Loud'?"

"Pete Sakes?" Well, I guess we know whose kids love my William more. Bradford told me that another familiar 4 yr old named her doll "William" the other day. Don't worry...your still his favorite second Mommy! :)
